Class Description: Zippers have many uses, such as closures for bags, purses, clothing, and pouches. But, what about an art quilt? We are going to explore the controversial life of a zipper turned artistic. The zipper has many uses now. Where can your creative juices take you? Make the quilt just like I have done, or use your imagination to come up with a new concept. All ideas are welcomed. My imagination took me to the realm of exploration when I entered my zipper quilt in the quilt show in 2015 and won a first place in Art Innovative. Give it a try too.

Class Supply List: Sewing machine, with zipper foot if available, Mat, rotary cutter, ruler, threads, (decorative ones too). The kit will have multi colors in it, so any threads may work. Scissors. Bring

embellishments you think might work with zipper art. No guarantee you will use them.

Included In Kit.: this kit includes all fabrics to complete your quilt top, BG fabrics, contrasting

fabrics, zippers, buttons and other embellishments. Does not include Backing fabric, binding or batting.
