Class Description: Faced with the unpleasant task of having to remove the paper after piecing, often steers some quilters away from foundation piecing. Granted, it's a precise way to put together a tricky pattern. In this class, you will learn to convert a regular foundation pattern to one that uses freezer paper instead. No need to remove paper later - but the results are just as precise as the other technique. If you have a particular pattern you would like to try, bring it along... we will convert it. Otherwise, there will be a couple of samples for you to use.
Class Supply List: SEWING MACHINE - all sewing supplies. Skinny permanent marker.
9-1/2 or 6-1/2" square ruler. If you choose, you may also bring a thin, plastic ruler that you can use to trace lines.
Scissors that you can use on paper. If you have a particular pattern you want to try, please bring the appropriate fabric for it as well.
Included In Kit.: Pattern to practice on - and extra freezer paper. Sample block kit, including necessary fabric.
