Class Description:   Make this adorable holiday project that is just the right size!  Easy curved piecing technique is taught. No pinning - no finding the center. Just cut, sew, square-up! HO - HO - HO. This is a six-hour class, separated into 2 days.  This should allow for you to finish the wall hanging top.   Wall hanging measures 28” x 38”

Supply List:  You will need a machine in good working order, thread to match your fabrics, 45 mm rotary cutter, cutting mat, BSK, QCR Mini Ruler from Sew Kind of Wonderful and Posh Santa Pattern.

1 fat quarter hat main fabric (red)

1 fat quarter hat trim fabric (blue)

1 fat quarter face fabric (tan)

2/3 yard beard main fabric (white)

1/4 yard beard secondary fabric (white)

(2) 5" squares mouth fabric (red)

(1) 5" square nose/eye fabric (gray)

1-1/4yards background fabric (gray)

1 yard backing

1/2 yard binding

Before class, cut the following pieces.  It will be helpful if you label your fabrics prior to cutting.

From hat main fabric cut:

(5) 5" x 5"

(3) 4" x 4"

From hat trim fabric cut:

(7) 5" x 5"

(1) 4" x 4"

(1) 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" (tassel block)

From face fabric cut:

(4) 3 1/2" x 5"

(1) 3" x 4"

(1) 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" (cut in half diagonally)

(1) 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"

(1) 1 1/2" x 2"

(1) 4" x 4"

(2) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2"

From main beard fabric cut:

(3) 4 1/2" x wof, from strips cut --

(8) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" (mustache pieces)

(1) 51/2" x 51/2" (cut in half diagonally)
