Class Description:  Come and experience the wonderful world of color! This lecture is designed to give you an in-depth view of color and how to use it to your advantage in creating your quilts. We will learn about the importance of value and how it can do the work for you when planning fabrics for your next project. We will also discuss color schemes, warm and cool colors, and how to pick a palette to make a stellar quilt. I will have lots of examples of creating color combinations and we will learn how texture makes the difference. I will show you how to use a favorite piece of fabric and pull a color scheme from it. This lecture is fun and interactive and a visual treat. It will change the way you view your quilting. Come share in my passion for color. I will have a trunk show of quilts to show.
