As you may or may not know the HMQS has 2 challenges going on for the 2012 HQMS show in May for Quilts of Valor. But as of December 2011 only 11 kits have gone out. I want to try and get this out to as many members as possible.  If you could spare $15 dollars for the kit to make a Quilt of Valor and get it registered as a show quilt,  then if you are in the top 3, you could win money as well as a free ticket for the show and exhibit ribbon.

HMQS is also offering the Riley Blake Designs Fabric Challenge.  These challenge quilts will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to Quilts of Valor.  Information about entering this challenge can be found at the website below.
