Class Description –

In this class, we will be making a realistic looking owl using a variety of 1/4 inch strips of fabric glued to a prepared background.  You can swap fabrics with other class members to achieve a multi-textural look for your owl.  The picture is based on a Western Screech Owl by the name of "Simon"!  The technique was developed by Kathy Porter of UQG!  The hard part will be done by the instructor ahead of class.  Come join in the fun!

1/2 yd sky fabric
1/2 yd lt brown fabric
1/2 yd med brown fabric
1/2 yd dk brown fabric
glue stick
rotary cutter and cutting mat
ruler
1/2 yd fusible

Included in Kit – Muslin owl body with marking on where to place light, medium, and dark fabric strips.  Eyes and beaks will already be fused in place.
