Class Description:  Come join Ruth as she teaches you the basics of Free Motion Quilting on your Domestic Machine!  You will receive a handout that covers how to set up your sewing area, pin basting, and hands-on quilting practice, numerous quilting motifs, and a progressive program to allow you to improve your quilting skills as you advance on previously learned techniques.  *No Dangerous Stitching involved.

Class Supply List:  -Sewing Machine that allows lowering of Feed Dogs

-Free Motion or Ruler Foot

-4 Fat Quarter sized muslin or solid color quilt sandwiches to practice on.

-Colored thread so you can see what you've quilted

-Pencil

-Ruler for marking quilting lines

-extension table for your machine if you have one (optional but helpful)

-Supreme Slider (optional)

-quilting gloves (teacher will provide disposable hospital gloves for you to try)
