Class Description:  Your mind will burst into song when you see this Cathedral Star Quilt with its gorgeous curves and clean lines.  It may look difficult, but don't pass this quilt by as it is easy to create and helps build basic skills along the way. In fact, a beginner who can sew straight and gentle curves accurately will be amazed with the ease that this quilt comes together.

You'll develop skills using:

    Strip units sewn with long straight seams,

    Edge stitching along straight and gently curved lines,

    Simple fold, roll and edge stitching to create curves,

    Sashing and corner stones, with nested seams, and

    Adding negative space for highlighting the quilting.

This Cathedral Stars quilt designed by Donna Jordan for Jordan Fabrics can be made into the 70" x 70" bordered quilt with 9 stars or a smaller version using just 4 stars.  We'll have the instructions for both sizes.  It will have your eyes twinkling and you'll feel the stars aligning with delight as you complete this gorgeous quilt.  We can't wait to have you join in.
