308-22: 308-22 Ode to the Maple Leaf - Florence Evans
Class Description: Celebrate the humble Maple Leaf block and all it’s wonderous variations! Using the framework of several traditional maple leaf blocks, we will mix-n-match parts and pieces to create our own unique blocks. In class we will learn a myriad of techniques ranging from resizing blocks, to drawing our own paper-pieced foundation patterns, to making perfect skinny stems. For your leaf palette, choose a season (glorious autumn, gentle spring, bright summer) or theme (fantasy forest, wild jungle) and let your imagination go! A number of quilt plans and ideas will be provided for ways to use your blocks.
