411-23: Community Beginning Sewing - Virginia Lee FREE
Class Description - In keeping with the Utah Quilt Guilds motto, to encourage, promote and preserve the art of quilt making, a FREE class just for beginners will be held at this year’s Quilt Fest.
This is a great opportunity to introduce your friend(s) to the “Wonderful World of Quilting”. It’s for that friend that always says, “I wish I could do that”. A free class for your friend or family. A chance to enjoy each other’s company and just have a darn good time. An adult is required for children under 10 to be in attendance. Some very basic information will be shared to help understand the language of quilters, like fat quarter which is not part of your anatomy or a burger at McDonalds. All supplies are provided. We will have tools to try out, handouts, fabric and patterns. A machine is not required but an opportunity to sew on a few machines will be available (we can take turns). Please take advantage of this FREE opportunity.
