Requirements:
Requirements -SEWING MACHINE: please have an extension cord, new needle, wind bobbin in a neutral color thread and bring a neutral color top thread. Please have a 1/4-inch foot on the machine that does NOT have a seam guide or flange on the foot. - GENERAL SUPPLIES: Rotary cutter (sharp blade) and small mat Square ruler ( Linda uses a 9-1/2-inch by Omnigrid or Creative Grids) Scissors, a few straight pins, baggie for scraps Pigma brush tip pen (Linda will have some in class $3 black or $4 color) Fabrics pre-cut and bagged by size (Linda recommends starching before cutting, but its a personal choice) Note: We will not get to the borders in class, so it is not necessary to cut or bring them with you. Kit fee per student : $28.00 Includes - Foundation paper that can be left in the quilt, custom acrylic templates, a re-useable foundation piecing stencil and a full color handout. Linda's classes are fun and empowering! Linda has a way of taking a project that looks complex and breaking it down in such a way that's easy to understand. Linda adds her own sense of style while at the same time making it a WHOLE LOTTA FUN! Her infectious passion for quilting shines through in her classes. Linda is a high energy - low stress instructor.

Linda is the Virtual Class Coordinator for Road to California.

Her newest book in the New York Beauty series called NEW YORK BEAUTY ELECTRIFIED. (Fox Chapel Publishing).

New for 2020 is a third book in the Rock that Quilt Block series that features the Country Crown block. ROCK THAT QUILT BLOCK - COUNTRY CROWN is available for purchase in our store. Linda also designed My Quilting Journal which has space for class information, your favorite shops and long arm quilters.

Linda has a new fabric collection arriving in stores September 2020 - called Carnivale from Banyan Batiks by Northcott. Two more collections are works!

Linda is honored to have been chosen as a Janome Artisan in 2019.





Linda was a guest on Quilting Arts Television -Series 1400 which was aired in late 2014.

Linda was a National Quilting Association Certified Teacher and was the 2009 NQA Certified Teacher of the Year. She has been three times nominated (2001, 2004 and 2008) for Professional Quilter Magazine's Teacher of the Year Award.

Linda designs quilt patterns which are marketed under the name FROG HOLLOW DESIGNS.

Linda has had her work published in Quilt Magazine, The Quilter Magazine, The Professional Quilter Magazine, Quiltmaker Magazine, Quilt Almanac, Machine Quilting Unlimited Magazine, American Quilter Magazine. She has designed quilt patterns for RJR Fabrics and Clothworks, Inc., and Elizabeth's Studio, LLC. She works closely with Northcott Fabrics and Banyan Batiks fabrics.

Linda designed the very first on line mystery quilt for the American Quilter's Society called "Block Buffet". Another of Linda's patterns (Maple Cabin) was featured in the AQS On Point Newsletter! She was also honored to have one of her designs accepted to be the 2013 on line mystery - Snake in the Grass. Linda designed the pattern to coordinate with the fabrics honoring the American Quilter's Society 30th Anniversary!

Linda was part of the teaching faculty at the AQS Shows (Paducah) (Lancaster) (Grand Rapids) (Chattanooga) and (Albuquerque), Road to Caifornia, Maine Quilts, North Carolina Quilt Symposium, Vermont Quilt Festival, Quilt Odyssey (2011, 2013 and 2014), NQA Annual Show (2008,2010 and 2014), Quilters Heritage Celebration, Machine Quilter's Expo, and was on the faculty at the Mid-Appalachian Quilter's Conference for the past 7 years. Linda has taught on numerous quilting cruises, and was the featured teacher at the Frost Valley Quilting Weekend. She has taught in Bermuda twice, and is the featured teacher for the first annual Quilt Bermuda 2013.

Linda is a licensed Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold, Zumba Sentao, Aqua Zumba and Zumba Kids instructor. She loves to bring her love of Zumba to her workshops!

Linda was honored by her fellow New Jersey Quilters in 2009 when she was named the "New Jersey All Star" at the New Jersey Quilt Convention.

When not doing something "quilty", she likes to cruise the caribbean, or sit under a palm tree with her Kindle and an umbrella drink. Linda LOVES to shake her bootie by attending Zumba fitness classes.
