Two sizes larger than your normal size or get the largest size available, which will help with fitting and it will be cut down to the correct size. Your sweatshirt will be cut apart before the the blocks are attached. If you want to cut your sweatshirt apart before class contact the teacher for instructions. Prewash sweatshirt. Random quilt blocks with coordinating fabrics ( enough to cover sweatshirt base). We will not be making the exact jacket from the photos because you will be using YOUR blocks. Wash away marking pen or pencil that will contrast with chosen fabrics. Walking foot ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! We will be doing basic straight line machine quilting however, this is NOT a machine quilting technique class.
