109-23: Introduction to Ruler Quilting - Kathy Bruckman



In this class, you will learn the basics of ruler quilting on your domestic machine.    We will learn about threads, tension, and needles.   Then we will get to do some hands on learning and begin quilting with rulers.

Pattern Fee None, Kit Fee (Payable to teacher on day of class) $60
Requirements:
Machine Required? YES Class Supply List: 2 yards fabric for top, batting and backing ( I highly recommend using a solid fabric. The fabrics can be in 1 yard cuts). Thread - I highly recommend a 40 weight polyester thread, like glide, floriani or isacord. Bring 1 in a matching color and 1 in a contrasting color. Sewing machine and basic sewing kit. Students:?contact teacher, at kbruck2001@yahoo.com with the make and model of your machine that you will use for ruler work, as the ruler feet are machine specific. Included in Kit: includes 2 templates, ruler foot, booklet of designs for these templates
