This class is for beginning or experienced quilters who want to learn tips and practice skills that will improve your quilting stitch, and help you enjoy the process!

This class covers all aspects of hand quilting:

Batting selection and testing       

Quilting Patterns and design, even feathers!

Marking options


Learning and practicing the best stitch for you

Needles, hoops, and threads


A hands-on/ process class.  (You will not have a finished project suitable for framing.)

Materials Included:
Pattern Fee (Payable to teacher on day of class): $ Kit Fee (Payable to teacher on day of class): $ 10
Machine Required? No Class Supply List: BSK/ pencil/paper, 18 inch or longer ruler , Thimbles (bring what you have, we will try them all!), 2/3 yard muslin or white cotton 24"x 42-45" (Pre-washed will make you happier!), Quilting hoop (12 inch x 18 inch round or oval wooden hoop/Small Q-snap frames work okay.) , Included in Kit: Different types of batting, Selection of quilting needles and sizes, Marking tools/ pencil and sharpener, Templates, Hand quilting gadgets (things that work for me! :)
